1st PRIZE TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY – KARLSRUHE INSTITUT OF TECHNOLOGY
PROTAVIC INTERNATIONAL, specialized in adhesives and resins for the electronics industry, has received 1st prize in Technology Transfer, at the Neuland Innovation Fund Day held on 6 July 2022 at the KARLSRUHE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (KIT), in Germany.
The KARLSRUHE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is one of the most prestigious research institutions in Germany. They are independent experts and have chosen PROTAVIC INTERNATIONAL to collaborate with on a joint project.
As part of this technology partnership, the project aims to develop a new generation of electric conductive glue, requiring reduced silver than existing products, whilst maintaining electrical conductivity properties and improving the mechanical properties of the glue.
This type of electrically conductive glue is used to connect photovoltaic cells to each other in order to create large panels. Reducing the consumption of silver, this is one of the priorities for manufacturers of solar panels.
